Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions for our manufacturing plant in Târgu Mureș. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee development, payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, selection and onboarding processes in line with factory operational needs.
• Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor law and industry best practices.
• Manage performance evaluation cycles and identify professional development opportunities for staff.
• Plan and deliver training programmes, including occupational health and safety initiatives.
• Supervise personnel administration, payroll processing and labor‑relations activities.
• Monitor HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover and retention, proposing optimisation measures.
• Support senior management in strategic decisions regarding team structure and growth.
• Foster a positive organisational climate based on communication, respect and responsibility.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of labour law and modern HR practices.
• Proficiency with digital work tools, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and payroll/personnel software.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic setting.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical thinking and solution‑focused mindset.
• Intermediate English proficiency is an advantage.
