Specialist - F&A - R2R 4A (Month-End Closing)

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Specialist in Finance & Accounting (F&A) - R2R 4A in Romania. You will own the full range of month-end closing activities, including reporting, consolidation, controls and the preparation of financial statements. The position is hybrid, with a standard work shift.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all month-end closing activities, including review and posting of month-end journal entries
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations and handle quarterly intercompany processes and balancing items
• Ensure reporting and consolidation meet KPIs and SLAs, and review timely execution of controls
• Drive audit deliverables and ensure evidence is submitted on time
• Produce quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements
• Build customer relationships, lead process-update calls with customers and recommend process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Experience in accounting with closing and reporting exposure
• Advanced Spanish (C1)
• Certifications such as CAMS, PSIB, CCO, CFA, CPA or CRCM are listed as preferred
