Front Line Manager - F&A - R2R

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Front Line Manager for its F&A Record-to-Report (R2R) function. The role supervises and coordinates R2R activities, ensuring timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, and leads a team in a hybrid setting in Romania.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate R2R activities, including the general ledger close, and ensure compliance with deadlines and service level agreements.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting packages, and oversee balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements and accounting regulations, and support internal and external audits.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports, analyse financial results and investigate variances.
• Apply proper accounting treatment under IFRS, US GAAP or local standards, maintain accounting policies and procedures, and prepare metrics for management.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and digitalisation, and support system implementations and process transformation.
• Coach and develop team members, allocate work, monitor productivity and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and collaborate with AP, AR, tax, treasury and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or a Master's in Finance.
• Certifications such as CFA (Skillab) or FRM (LinkedIn Learning).
• Advanced English (C1).
