F&A Specialist - R2R (Month-End Close)

About the role

Genpact is looking for an F&A specialist for a Romania-based role covering all month-end closing activities. The position is hybrid, on a standard shift, and focuses on record-to-report (R2R) accounting, reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reporting and consolidations, and ensure KPIs and SLAs are met and controls are executed on time
• Drive audit deliverables and the timely submission of evidence in line with requirements
• Produce quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements
• Review and post month-end journal entries and carry out month-end close activities
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations and handle quarterly intercompany processes
• Resolve balancing items
• Build customer relationships, lead process-update calls with customers and recommend process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Experience in accounting with closing and reporting exposure
• Advanced Spanish (C1)
