Senior Associate - F&A (Accounts Receivable / Cash Application)

About the role

Genpact is hiring a Senior Associate for its F&A (Finance and Accounts) team, working remotely from Romania (Cluj-Napoca area) on a standard work shift. The role covers accounts receivable, cash application and collections, and is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance, or a master's in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers, email or fax invoices and arrange hard copies to be mailed to customers as requested.
• Allocate payments according to customer remittances, validate them thoroughly and report to the business.
• Keep track of aged receivables across AR entities and act as subject matter specialist for AR processes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and respond to client queries.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash, follow up on customer disputes and questions, and reconcile orders to customer books, including validating credits or debits for collection or refund.
• Ensure daily receipt reconciliation (DRR) is completed accurately and confidentially at assigned sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced German (C1).
• Experience with a real estate client is preferred.
