Senior Associate - F&A - I2C 5B (Accounts Receivable)

About the role

Genpact is hiring a Senior Associate for its F&A (Finance and Accounts) team in Romania, focused on accounts receivable and cash application. The role covers making collection calls, handling invoices and reconciling payments against customer remittances. It is a regular, hybrid position with a standard shift.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers, email or fax invoices and arrange hard copies to be mailed to customers as requested.
• Allocate payments according to customer remittances, validate them thoroughly and report back to the business.
• Track aged receivables across AR entities and act as subject matter specialist for AR processes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and respond to client queries.
• Resolve unidentified cash, follow up on customer disputes and questions, and reconcile orders to customer books, including validating credits or debits for collection or refund.
• Ensure daily receipt reconciliation is completed accurately and confidentially, and work between departments to reach resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced French (C1); experience with a real estate client is preferred.
• Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Cash Application experience.
