Senior Associate - F&A - I2C 5B (Collections)

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Senior Associate in F&A (Accounts Receivable and Collections) for its I2C 5B unit in Romania. The role manages complex customer accounts, drives timely collection of outstanding balances and supports month-end closing. It is a regular, hybrid position with a standard shift.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex customer accounts and drive timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Review and resolve escalated payment disputes, deductions and account issues.
• Oversee accurate and timely cash application activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end closing processes.
• Analyze aging reports and recommend actions to reduce overdue receivables.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Support process improvements, compliance requirements and internal controls.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members and support team objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Certifications such as Accounts Payable, F-TecF-Tec, CAMS, CFE, FMVA or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
• Advanced French (C1).
