Senior Associate - F&A (Accounts Receivable & Cash Application)

About the role

Genpact is hiring a Senior Associate for its F&A (Accounts Receivable and Cash Application) team in Romania. The role covers making collection calls to customers, handling invoices by email or fax and mailing hard copies to customers, and applying incoming payments to customer accounts. It is a regular, hybrid position with a standard shift.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers, email or fax invoices and arrange for hard copies to be mailed to customers as requested.
• Allocate payments according to customer remittances, validate them thoroughly and report back to the business.
• Track aged receivables across AR entities and act as subject matter specialist for AR processes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and respond to client queries.
• Resolve unidentified cash, follow up on customer disputes and questions, and reconcile orders to customer books, including validating credits or debits for collection or refund.
• Ensure daily receipt reconciliation is completed accurately and confidentially, and work with departments to resolve disputes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced Portuguese (C1); experience with a real estate client is preferred.
• Accounting background and ability to handle client queries.
