Sales Operations and Effectiveness Manager CEE

About the role

Royal Canin, part of Mars, is hiring a Sales Operations and Effectiveness Manager for the CEE region, based in Bucharest or another CEE cluster site. The role focuses on improving sales performance through data, technology and process excellence, and works with a hybrid model of up to 50% remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve sales effectiveness frameworks, processes and operating standards across the region.
• Optimise sales call plans, territory coverage and route planning to maximise field force productivity and ROI.
• Monitor performance metrics and sales effectiveness indicators, spotting opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Act as subject matter expert and main point of contact for sales systems, tools and operational processes.
• Lead adoption of new technologies, automation solutions and AI-enabled tools.
• Partner with regional stakeholders, IT teams and external providers on system enhancements.
• Serve as key user and business owner for Salesforce CRM and related sales systems.
• Drive cross-functional projects on process optimisation, operational excellence and business transformation.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Economics, Sales or a related field.
• Experience in sales operations, sales effectiveness, business operations or commercial excellence.
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or comparable sales management systems.
• Experience leading or supporting system implementations, process improvements or digital transformation initiatives.
• Fluent English; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
