Associate - F&A - AP

About the role

Genpact is looking for an Associate in Finance & Administration (F&A), Accounts Payable, based in Romania. The role covers accounts payable activities such as sending remittance advices, resolving supplier queries and reconciling vendor balances, with a hybrid work arrangement and a standard shift.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified time scales.
• Send remittance advices to suppliers and search for relevant information in the system.
• Create cases, send e-mails and track them until closure.
• Contact suppliers to resolve queries, including major discrepancies and rejected payments, and give feedback promptly by e-mail, telephone or other tools.
• Provide invoice status and relevant contact details, and support the Processing team.
• Perform proactive controls to avoid future errors, and handle vendor reconciliation and reporting.
• Maintain relationships with customers, chase vendors for balance confirmations and clarify outstanding issues.
• Route out-of-scope issues to internal teams and escalate unresolved issues to the team leader.
• Read and learn standard operating procedures, contribute to their improvement and develop skills across tasks, including multi-skilling in transaction processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Accounts Payable certification and F-Tec certification.
• Advanced Italian (C1).
