Accounts Payable Domain Trainee (English) - Remote Romania

About the role

Genpact is looking for an English-speaking Accounts Payable domain trainee to work remotely from Romania. The role covers month-end closing activities within the finance and accounting (F&A) record-to-report function, with standard working hours in Romania.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all month-end closing activities, including reporting and consolidations
• Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, and review the timely execution of controls
• Drive audit deliverables and ensure evidence is submitted on time
• Prepare and review quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements
• Review and post month-end journal entries and perform month-end close activities
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations and handle quarterly intercompany processes and balancing items
• Build customer relationships, update calls with customers when needed, and recommend process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Advanced English proficiency (C1)
• Experience in closing and reporting

• Reconciliations and Record to Report (R2R)
• SAP ERP and Oracle ERP systems
• Regulatory compliance management and risk management
