Tech Lead

About the role

Provide technical leadership for the Team Connectivity within Bosch Service Solutions' Manufacturing Electronics environment, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement of production‑critical data pipelines and related IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure, distributed environments and production‑critical data pipelines using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and ELK/Kibana.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with DevOps and IaC practices (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, K3S, Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps).
• Support Linux‑based and containerised environments, provide technical guidance on application deployment, infrastructure and automation.
• Develop scripts and modular monitoring solutions, lead workshops with clients, and evaluate team performance and training needs.
• Take technical ownership of complex incidents, coordinate troubleshooting, and collaborate with quality, HR and other internal departments.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring and performance evaluation.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to work proactively and independently.

Required skills

• Linux / RHEL administration and troubleshooting.
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Git.
• Container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, K3S, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Grafana Alloy, VictoriaMetrics, ELK/Kibana.
• Messaging: Solace, Kafka.
• Programming/scripting: Java, Python, YAML.
• Microservices, networking, load balancers, firewalls, security concepts.
• Basic relational databases: Oracle, MySQL.
