Data Governance Senior

About the role

The Data Governance Senior will lead the technical implementation of Bosch's data governance framework, focusing on metadata management and data cataloging. You will ensure standardized metadata usage and maintain a robust data catalog across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive data catalog technical migration and define metadata management concepts.
• Maintain meta‑model, connect data resources, and manage business glossary.
• Train data stewards and establish standards for metadata management within the Powertrain Solution organization.
• Consult business units, plants, and teams on data governance, metadata management, and data catalog topics.

Required profile

• University degree (master’s/PhD) in data science, data management, IT or related field.
• Several years of experience in data governance and metadata management, preferably in automotive or similar industry.
• Team‑oriented, independent, strong communication and coordination skills, agile mindset.

Required skills

• Data catalog and data management tools.
• SQL, Python (Java optional), ETL and data integration solutions.
• API development, SAP (optional), Databricks, data warehouse, MS‑SQL databases.
• SaaS solutions, AWS, Azure.
