Senior Internal Auditor EMEA

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will own the regional risk assessment and develop the annual risk‑based audit plan for BASF Agricultural Solutions across EMEA. The role involves leading audits in finance, operations, IT and compliance while travelling to various country sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the regional audit plan, ensuring consistent methodology and high‑quality delivery.
• Conduct country audits across finance, operations, IT and compliance, and report findings promptly.
• Monitor remediation activities and follow up on identified risks and findings.
• Lead and mentor the regional audit team to achieve audit objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in internal audit, risk management or compliance, preferably with leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with a solution‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Risk‑based auditing knowledge.
• Experience across finance, operations, IT and compliance.
• Proficient use of standard MS Office applications.
