Senior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Euromaster, a Michelin Group subsidiary, is looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team in Voluntari. You will support the Accounting Manager and ensure accurate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings while maintaining compliance with group standards and Romanian legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
• Process journal entries, manage GL coding and record inventory adjustments.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare, upload and validate reporting data in group financial tools.
• Collaborate with the Controller, Chief Accountant and CFO to resolve complex accounting queries.
• Draft, review and continuously update process documentation.
• Maintain internal financial controls and generate ad‑hoc financial reports.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Strong collaborative mindset and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF/COUNT functions).
• General MS Office proficiency.
