Senior Associate - F&A - I2C (Accounts Receivable & Collections)

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Senior Associate in F&A (Accounts Receivable and Collections) based in Romania, working in a hybrid setting on a standard shift. The role covers making collection calls, handling invoices and reconciling cash applications, and acting as a subject matter specialist for AR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers, email or fax invoices and arrange hard copies to be mailed to customers as requested.
• Allocate payments according to customer remittances and validate cash allocations against customer remittances, reporting back to business.
• Collaborate across AR entities and keep track of aged receivables, including current ageing buckets.
• Act as subject matter specialist for AR processes, with full knowledge of the AR value chain.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and other updates.
• Handle client queries and follow up on customer and internal disputes until resolved.
• Reconcile orders to customer books, validating credits or debits and sending them to the customer for collection or refund.
• Manage incoming and outgoing collection-related calls and identify and resolve unidentified cash.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced French (C1); French is required.
• Experience with a real estate client is preferred.
