Portuguese-Speaking Customer Experience Specialist

About the role

Cross Border Talents is looking for a Portuguese-speaking Customer Experience Specialist to join its multilingual BPO centre in Bucharest. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling customer service by email and phone for leading airlines, covering flight changes, cancellations, lost baggage and claims. The company works with brands in the travel and high-growth tech sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by email and phone.
• Handle emails and voice calls from leading airlines, helping with flight changes or cancellations, lost baggage and claims.
• Communicate with customers in German and English.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Maintain a positive, empathic and professional attitude and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proficiency in writing and speaking Portuguese (C1 level) is essential; English at B2 level is required.
• Prior experience in an international airline environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Graduates in any discipline or undergraduates are welcome.

Required skills

• Familiarity with booking systems such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre is a plus.
• Effective communication and customer service skills; BPO/contact centre experience is beneficial.
