Italian-Speaking Customer Experience Specialist

About the role

Cross Border Talents is looking for an Italian-speaking Customer Experience Specialist to join its multilingual BPO centre in Bucharest. The team supports international brands in the Travel and High-Growth Tech sectors, combining digital technology with human intelligence. As a Customer Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by email and phone.
• Handle emails and voice calls from leading airlines, helping with flight changes or cancellations, lost baggage and claims.
• Communicate with customers in Italian and English across different channels.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Maintain a positive, empathic and professional attitude and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Italian (C1 level) and English (B2 level).
• Prior experience in an international airline environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Graduates in any discipline or undergraduates are welcome.

Required skills

• Familiarity with booking systems such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre is a plus.
• Effective communication and customer service skills; BPO or contact centre experience is beneficial.
