Health & Benefits Insurance Broker Consultant

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Health & Benefits Insurance Broker Consultant to join its MMB team in Bucharest. The role supports account teams on complex initiatives and strengthens client relationships through high-quality project delivery and analysis. It is a hybrid position with at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for the account team on large initiatives or complex accounts, implementing action plans, monitoring progress and protecting the firm from errors and omissions.
• Draft client-facing project documents such as white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses and presentations that support sales opportunities.
• Research markets and industries to identify new growth areas, trends and resources, and conduct and refine data analyses to support proposals and presentations.
• Address escalated issues promptly, manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and escalate major issues to senior colleagues while ensuring compliance.
• Provide technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships and build relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
• Attend and take part in industry events and conferences to build a professional network.

Required profile

• Experience supporting account teams, project delivery, client service or related commercial operations in a complex environment.
• Prior experience in insurance, consulting, broking or another professional services environment is an advantage.
• Confidence in building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across levels.
• Exposure to industry research, market insights or proposal development in a client-facing role is an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
• Strong judgment, organization and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and compliance.
