F&A Specialist - I2C 4A (Accounts Payable)

About the role

Genpact is looking for an F&A specialist (I2C 4A) in Romania, working in a hybrid setting on a standard shift. The role covers order processing, reporting and documentation, and supports credit control and continuous improvement. It is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for customers, sales teams, brokers and distributors, investigating and resolving complex issues
• Ensure accurate processing, shipping and invoicing of customer orders, and check orders against client requirements and cut-off times
• Maintain and update customer master data, including new accounts and changes
• Use client-specific tools to manage daily operations and meet agreed service metrics
• Prepare and submit monthly reports and audit documentation, and support the Assistant Manager with reports
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls (SOX)
• Create, update and maintain SOPs and working procedures
• Support credit control, respond to ad hoc requests from business groups and local units, and share process-improvement ideas
• Train and mentor junior team members and act as a bridge between customers, outside sales and internal departments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Advanced German (C1); German is required
• Accounting certification, F-TecF-Tec, CFA, CPA, CTP or Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst certification
