About the role

WNS Romania, a leading provider of end-to-end business process management solutions in Europe, is hiring a Buyer in Bucharest. The role covers procurement of goods, materials, components or services in line with cost, quality and delivery targets, within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services according to specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Support the purchasing function and other departments, communicating supply problems that could affect operations.
• Act as interface between suppliers and other departments on purchasing processes and new projects.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
• Analyse costs, new and existing, and review cost reduction activities.
• Process requisitions and update requesters and management on order status.

Required profile

• Commercial awareness.
• Able to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
