Business Development Manager – Solar & Energy Storage

About the role

Huawei Europe is expanding its Digital Power business in Romania and seeks a Business Development Manager to lead growth in the solar and energy‑storage market. You will be responsible for shaping the go‑to‑market strategy, building key partnerships, and delivering large‑scale projects that reinforce Huawei’s brand in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute strategic sales plans aligned with customer needs and Huawei objectives.
• Oversee sales operations, project delivery, and customer relationship management across Romania.
• Strengthen Huawei’s market presence and brand positioning in solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Initiate and manage partnerships with solar inverter manufacturers, developers, and EPC contractors.
• Identify, secure, and ensure successful execution of strategic solar and BESS projects.
• Expand the customer portfolio, increase market share, and foster long‑term partnerships.
• Lead project teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business Administration.
• Proven sales experience in the solar power sector, including solar inverters and BESS.
• Track record of winning large‑scale projects and managing key client relationships.
• Fluent in English and Romanian with willingness to travel frequently.
