Java Backend Engineer – Spring Boot & GCP

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and resilient backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop, test, and document software components throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Maintain code quality through thorough reviews and adherence to technical standards.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform services, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build and deploy cloud‑native solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions and support high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience with a major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Minimum six months of hands‑on experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global, multicultural team.
