Data Scientist for (e-)Mobility Cloud Solutions

About the role

Bosch Engineering Center Cluj is looking for a Data Scientist to help transform data into actionable insights that accelerate digitalisation across the mobility business. You will design, build and operate scalable data and AI solutions for cloud services, manufacturing analytics and telemetry use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical, machine‑learning and AI models to solve real business and engineering problems.
• Build data‑driven products and services across mobility‑related domains, including cloud services and business‑process optimisation.
• Ingest, process and analyse diverse data sources such as relational databases, logs, sensor streams and image data.
• Develop, test and maintain reusable code libraries and production‑grade data pipelines.
• Apply statistical and experimental methods to support root‑cause analysis and decision‑making.
• Own the full lifecycle of data solutions: discovery, prototyping, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate in a multicultural, distributed team and contribute to the adoption of leading‑edge AI technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong foundation in statistics and experience with data‑driven problem solving.
