Commercial Manager Spirits

About the role

Diageo is looking for a Commercial Manager Spirits based in Bucharest on a permanent basis. The role holds primary accountability for Net Sales Value (NSV) and Operating Profit, driving market share, executing competitive strategies and overseeing key commercial initiatives at regional level, in close collaboration with the Head of Commercial.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance and P&L delivery of assigned markets, ensuring business targets are met
• Lead annual planning and joint business planning with distributor partners
• Build strong relationships with distributors, customers and key stakeholders to identify growth opportunities
• Monitor and evaluate commercial execution through regular business reviews, performance analysis and market visits
• Drive excellence in execution, measurement and optimisation across commercial and marketing activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards and responsible marketing practices
• Partner with regional and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial experience with P&L ownership; experience in another function such as Finance, Marketing or Strategy is a plus
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Ability to work within a virtual team and cross-functionally, with a high sense of initiative and independence
• Cross-cultural experience, developing market experience and a Master's degree are advantages
