HR Generalist – Fuels Business (Romania)

About the role

Join our Fuels Business! We are a specialized leader in fuel inspection, certification, and quality services. Following an exciting strategic transition, we are looking for an HR generalist who acts as a strategic advisor and hands‑on practitioner for our business in Romania.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment: source candidates and use various systems and databases to identify the best talent.
• HR Administration: manage onboarding, leave, transfers, terminations; draft employment contracts; maintain basic HR records.
• Time & Attendance: track employee attendance and prepare timesheets for payroll processing.
• Advise on and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR regulations.
• Active participation in collective bargaining processes.
• Participate in the implementation of an HR Management System (HRMS).

Required profile

• Higher education degree, preferably in Law and/or Labor Relations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage change and lead organizational transformation processes.
• Willingness to travel within Romania monthly, including overnight stays.
• Openness to occasional international travel in the future.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
• German language skills preferred.
• Fluent in Romanian.
