Working Student - Embedded Software Development

About the role

Bosch Engineering Center Cluj, active since 2013 in AI-based automated driving, electric and connected mobility, is looking for a Working Student in Embedded Software Development. The student joins the team that brings Bosch products into the virtual and mixed reality world.

Key responsibilities

• Experience the full software development process, from requirements through design, implementation and unit testing to documentation.
• Help build development tools and simulation environments for driving assistance functions.
• Contribute to software development in a real project environment across automotive and non-automotive fields.
• Work in an international team and improve technical and soft skills.

Required profile

• Student of Computer Science, Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable.
• Good level of English is mandatory.
• Team player, proactive, adaptable and self-organized.

Required skills

• Some experience with debugging, communication protocols, design patterns, SOLID and Linux.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL and basic database concepts, and algorithms and coding logic.
• Technology stack: C/C++, Python, Bash, Autosar, Google Test, Jenkins, Docker, Git, Jira, MSBuild and CMake.
