Solution Analyst – EASY Platform Modernization

About the role

Coface is looking for an experienced Solution Analyst with 7 to 12 years of experience, ideally with a strong Java background and exposure to international projects. The role sits in the Business Technology (BT) division of the Risk & Information domain, working on EASY, Coface's global corporate reference database of over 245 million companies, together with a bulk company loading platform and a matching solution powered by Elasticsearch. The main focus is supporting the modernization of the EASY application landscape toward a more scalable, maintainable, service-oriented architecture. The analyst works in an Agile environment with Business and Solution Analysts in France, development teams in Bucharest and stakeholders worldwide, and collaborates closely with Enterprise Architects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and turn them into functional and technical solutions.
• Produce technical and solution specifications and support development teams through Agile delivery cycles.
• Perform impact assessments and contribute to solution design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, security, quality, performance and business standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and modernization of the EASY platform.
• Support incident analysis and resolution when required.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and standards.

Required profile

• 7 to 12 years of experience in software development and/or solution analysis.
• Experience in insurance, business information, financial services or data-intensive environments is a plus.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, autonomy and ability to work in an international environment.

• Solution design and architecture, including functional analysis, solution design and technical specifications.

• Enterprise architecture and system integration principles.
• API-based architectures and microservices.
• Application modernization programs and large-scale data platforms and search technologies.
