Data Integration Specialist

About the role

Coface is looking for Data Integration Specialists to support the integration of data flows in its system. You will work closely with data stakeholders, product teams and technology partners to deliver trusted, high-quality and compliant data across the organization. The position is based in Bucharest.

Key responsibilities

• Work internationally with internal and external data providers on global data in disparate formats, including APIs and batch processing
• Document, develop and maintain end-to-end data mappings from international third-party providers and integrate their information into the ecosystem
• Take part in user acceptance testing and validation of data integration processes
• Help standardize the data integrated into group systems
• Partner with technical teams (business analysts, IT) and communicate with data providers so that the data is clear and comprehensive
• Investigate ingestion failures with technical teams, escalate persistent problems with full documentation, and monitor data ingestion performance
• Document mapping processes and test results and contribute to continuous improvement

Required profile

• Proven experience creating and maintaining detailed data mappings in a B2B environment
• Practical knowledge or academic degree in understanding financial statements and assessing company creditworthiness
• Strong communication skills to explain complex data concepts to technical and business audiences
• Excellent English required; proficiency in another language is an asset
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and a compliance and risk-aware mindset

Required skills

• Preferred: hands-on experience with JSON and XSLT, transforming structures into pseudocode
• Preferred: SQL for data analysis and validation
• Preferred: data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Preferred: familiarity with GDPR and data ownership and stewardship frameworks
