Technical Customer Support Representative (German)

About the role

A global customer experience company supporting a leading home appliances brand is hiring three German-speaking Technical Customer Support Advisors in Bucharest, Romania. The role is voice-based technical support for German-speaking customers. Candidates work on-site for the first three months, after which hybrid working is available based on performance. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical customer support in German via voice channels
• Assist customers with questions and issues related to home appliance products
• Troubleshoot technical and product-related problems
• Identify customer needs and provide clear, accurate solutions
• Guide customers through appropriate troubleshooting steps
• Document customer interactions and case information accurately
• Escalate complex technical issues when required
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach and meet quality, productivity and customer service standards

Required profile

• German language proficiency at C1 level
• Previous customer service or technical support experience preferred
• Legal right to work in Romania or a valid work permit
• Willingness to work fully on-site in Bucharest for the first three months

Required skills

• Good technical understanding and ability to troubleshoot customer issues
• Comfortable working with computer systems and internal tools
• Customer-focused, solution-oriented approach and good organisational skills
