Senior Software Engineer - Generative AI & Digital Experience

About the role

Marsh Management Consulting seeks a hands‑on Senior Software Engineer to design, build and operate production‑grade Generative AI applications that power next‑generation digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain LLM‑based services using retrieval‑augmented generation, semantic search, prompt orchestration and agentic patterns.
• Create and manage content ingestion pipelines that crawl, process, chunk, embed and index website content.
• Implement evaluation frameworks, safety guards and monitoring to ensure grounded, brand‑aligned and secure AI outputs.
• Deploy cloud‑native AI services on AWS using Bedrock, OpenSearch, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB and Redis.
• Collaborate with product, UX, AEM, analytics and security teams to integrate AI capabilities into the Oliver Wyman website and AEM Cloud.

Required profile

• ~6+ years of professional software engineering experience with recent production Generative AI delivery.
• Strong Python development skills and solid backend/API engineering background.
• Hands‑on experience with RAG, semantic‑search systems and vector databases.
• Proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex AI decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
