OS Installed Base Account Specialist

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an OS Installed Base Account Specialist in Bucharest. This is a hybrid role, with about two days per week spent working from an HPE office. The specialist acts as the main day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts, managing renewals, upsells and the operational side of the relationship.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts, handling inquiries, requests and issue resolution professionally and on time.
• Manage daily operational activities and ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Own the contract renewal lifecycle, including renewals, conversions and service updates.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing contracts (upsell, add-on services).
• Support larger and more complex renewals together with OS Specialists and Customer Success Managers.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted operational partner.
• Work closely with OS CSMs, OS Specialists and the Account Operations Lead to carry out operational tasks.
• Use HPE tools, processes and methodologies effectively.
• Contribute to planning, forecasting inputs and data validation.
• Support process improvements and smaller coordination or project activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience.
• Ability to handle most unique situations independently, seeking advice only for complex business issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including with management-level stakeholders.
• Mastery of English.

• Understanding of sales operations processes and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience with planning and forecasting methodologies.
• Ability to work with data and generate actionable insights.
• Experience with tools and processes supporting sales and operations activities.
