Junior Business Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Business Data Analyst to join our MMB Analytics team in Cluj. This hybrid position requires you to work at least three days a week on‑site, delivering data‑driven insights for internal stakeholders and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver operational analytics and client‑facing reports that meet stakeholder requirements.
• Develop and document data structures and the insights they provide.
• Apply front‑end design best practices to improve dashboards and user experience.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement and test product and data improvements.
• Investigate product issues and propose practical fixes to improve reliability and usability.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in business analytics or a related role.
• Proven ability to deliver analytics solutions and reports that impact business outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with relational databases and SQL for data extraction and preparation.
• Basic ETL concepts and use of database tools.
• Hands‑on experience with data visualisation tools such as Qlik, Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with standard analytics methods like pivot tables and lookups.
