Electrician – Maintenance

About the role

The position involves diagnosing faults, repairing and adjusting machines on production lines, and ensuring electrical equipment operates reliably in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose defects, repair and adjust machines according to production requirements.
• Read and follow electrical schematics to trace circuits.
• Use measurement tools to determine voltage, current and resistance.
• Identify faulty components, sensors, photo‑cells and pressure switches based on error messages or schematics.
• Perform maintenance on workshop and production‑line electrical equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and record repair requests and spare parts used.
• Carry out electrical installations and modifications according to execution drawings and schematics.

Required profile

• Specialised study and electrician diploma (high school or vocational).
• Experience in industrial, domestic, electropneumatic or electro‑hydraulic electrical work.
• Problem‑solving ability and organisational skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a team environment.

Required skills

• Electrical diagnostics and fault identification.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Use of multimeters for voltage, current and resistance measurement.
• Knowledge of sensors, photo‑cells, pressure switches and their error codes.
• Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Installation and modification of electrical circuits according to technical drawings.
