Electrician for Container Vessels

About the role

Maersk is seeking qualified and experienced seafarers to join its fleet as Electricians on container vessels. This position offers the chance to work on technically advanced ships with the latest machinery and to contribute to efficiency improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Electrical Engineer with all assigned duties.
• Perform tasks related to reefers and other electrical/electronic installations under the direction of the Electrical Engineer or Chief Engineer.

Required profile

• At least 9 months sea‑time experience as an Electrical Cadet/Junior Electrician on container vessels, OR
• At least 5 months sea‑time experience as an independent Electrical Engineer on other vessel types.

Required skills

• Knowledge of reefers and related electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical and electronic installations on ships.
