Electrician (Container Vessels)

About the role

Maersk is recruiting qualified, experienced seafarers for the position of Electrician on its container vessels. The role is described as a key position in the world's largest container shipping company, offering the chance to work on technically advanced vessels with modern machinery and to help optimise efficiency and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Electrical Engineer in all of his or her responsibilities.
• Perform all tasks related to reefers and other electrical and electronic installations under the direction of the Electrical Engineer and/or Chief Engineer.

Required profile

• At least 9 months of seatime experience as an Electrical Cadet or Junior Electrician on container vessels, OR
• At least 5 months of seatime experience as an independent electrical engineer on other types of vessels.
