About the role
Miele Tehnica, a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, develops and operates digital solutions within the Business Unit Professional IT. As a DevOps Engineer you will help build and run the cloud platform behind these digital services, working closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners and Architects to deliver reliable software through automation, cloud-native technologies and DevOps best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security and high availability.
- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable software delivery.
- Develop and operate observability solutions with modern monitoring, logging and alerting platforms.
- Manage containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Container Apps.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to improve automation and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and document infrastructure, APIs and service architecture.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Good written and spoken English; German is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
- Monitoring and observability platforms.
- Nice to have: Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI; Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Datadog or ELK; Akamai CDN, Security Center, WAF or Bot Management; database automation; hybrid or multi-cloud experience; ITIL; German.
