Apriso MES Implementation Engineer

About the role

Accenture Industry X works in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), supporting factories in industries such as toys, cars, tires, car components, furniture and medical devices. The team handles end-to-end MES projects, from solution analysis to configuration, development and testing. Accenture is looking for an ambitious Apriso MES Implementation Engineer in Cluj-Napoca to develop and integrate project-specific MES systems that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Get familiar with one or more MES solutions provided by partners
• Develop, configure, test and deploy the MES solution
• Write well-designed, testable and efficient code
• Integrate MES software with systems such as ERP, PLM, APS, LIMS and other control systems
• Build custom reports using various reporting tools
• Work in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
• Travel on short-term project-based assignments when required

Required profile

• Bachelor's or MS in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent IT industry exposure
• 2 years of experience developing database-driven websites and applications
• 3 years of experience on factory MES, automation and process control systems in a manufacturing environment
• Solid technical/functional experience with MES systems (Apriso preferred)
• Team-oriented, multicultural and problem-solving mindset, with good organization and prioritization
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluency in English, other languages a plus

Required skills

• RDBMS maintenance (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL): SQL, backups, stored procedures, functions
• Software development with C#, ASP.NET or Java
• Front-end web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Windows Server/IIS environment experience
• MES-ERP integration experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of ISA-95, MESA or SCOR standards is an advantage
