Application Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced .NET Application Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and governance for a business‑critical platform. The role is hands‑on, without direct people‑management responsibilities, and will be based in Cluj, Romania with a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the application platform, defining and maintaining standards, architectural guardrails and development practices.
• Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, driving automation of build, test, deployment and release processes.
• Define and enforce Git branching strategies, pull‑request policies and quality gates.
• Integrate security controls, automated vulnerability scanning and compliance monitoring into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with DBA, security, infrastructure and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable and secure delivery.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in technical lead, software architecture or senior development roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
• Ability to influence technical decisions without direct authority.
