Working Student – Industrial Engineering

About the role

The Working Student will support operational, process‑improvement, training and administrative activities within the Bosch Cluj Plant, contributing to the efficiency of production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Record, analyze, and visualize production parameters and systems.
• Contribute to defining and updating standards for industrial engineering processes.
• Collaborate with other Bosch factories and central engineering teams.
• Assist in implementing productivity measurement tools.
• Support ergonomic improvement initiatives and cost‑reduction efforts.
• Help deliver training on ergonomic principles and production standards.
• Learn and apply industrial engineering tools such as MTM.
• Collect data and prepare KPI reports.
• Ensure compliance with CljP procedures.
• Support product data management (PDM) with SAP updates.
• Analyze data and prepare reports on cycle time using various data sources.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Conversational English skills for communication with multicultural colleagues.
• Medium level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in learning manufacturing processes and supporting plant ramp‑up.
