Senior UiPath Test Automation Developer

About the role

A client undergoing a major digital transformation, centred on an integrated SAP S/4HANA ecosystem, is looking for a Senior UiPath Test Automation Developer to build end-to-end (E2E) test automation in UiPath. The E2E suite simulates user operations across SAP and non-SAP systems, runs automatically every weekend and on demand, and the developer owns the non-SAP parts while connecting them to the SAP parts automated by another system integrator.

Key responsibilities

• Help design and implement the E2E Test Automation framework in UiPath with the Test Automation Lead, around four contracts: Identity, Data, Environment and Result.
• Set up orchestration of test runs in UiPath Orchestrator and Test Manager, with results flowing into SAP Cloud ALM.
• Define reusable components, coding standards and review rules.
• Automate the non-SAP steps of E2E business processes in UiPath, with UI and API steps, and connect them to the SAP steps into one E2E flow.
• Turn agreed scenarios and test cases into data-driven automated tests, built in parallel with manual dry runs and SIT of the first pilot.
• Run and maintain the suite every weekend and on demand, analyse failures, log defects in SAP Cloud ALM and update the tests.
• Document the framework and standards, share UiPath know-how with the team and report progress and results to the Test Automation Lead.

Required profile

• 5+ years in test automation, including 3+ years building test automation in UiPath.
• Experience designing and building a test automation framework from scratch, and automating end-to-end processes across several systems with UI and API steps.
• UiPath Certified Professional certification, e.g. Test Automation Engineer Professional and Automation Developer Professional.
• Nice to have: fashion or retail domain knowledge, German, other languages, English B2 Upper Intermediate.

Required skills

• Deep hands-on knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Robots and Test Manager.
• Data-driven testing and test data handling.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for automated test runs.
• Experience automating SAP S/4HANA (SAP GUI / Fiori) with UiPath and using SAP Cloud ALM or a similar ALM tool.
• UiPath Autopilot and AI agents for testing.
