Senior Rust Software Engineer - Embedded Systems

About the role

Accenture Industry X is looking for a Senior Rust Software Engineer to join its Embedded Engineering Capability in Cluj-Napoca. The team is shaping a Software-Defined Vehicle Platform that unifies Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR, supporting ADAS and infotainment in safe, secure and upgradable vehicles. The engineer will build high-quality software for embedded and automotive platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software products using Rust and C++
• Build reliable, scalable and high-performance software components
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products meeting quality and business requirements
• Support continuous improvement of software architecture, development processes and product quality
• Take part in planning, implementation, testing and software releases

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Nice to have: embedded firmware development experience, embedded Linux application development, software testing methodologies and tools, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and basic performance optimization knowledge
