ASPICE Process Owner (Software Architecture)

About the role

HARMAN Automotive is looking for an ASPICE Process Owner / ASPICE Domain Lead in Bucharest. You will define, govern and continuously improve multiple Automotive SPICE process areas across the software engineering lifecycle and its interfaces with system engineering, quality assurance, functional safety, cybersecurity, configuration management, problem resolution and project management. You act as the technical authority for ASPICE implementation, assessment readiness and process harmonization, mentoring other Process Owners and supporting ASPICE capability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and harmonize ASPICE process areas SWE.1 to SWE.6 and their interfaces with SYS, SUP, MAN and other process areas
• Maintain an integrated ASPICE framework covering activities, work products, roles, tailoring guidance, methods, tooling, metrics and assessment evidence
• Align ASPICE requirements with HARMAN's business management system, customer requirements, Agile ways of working, ISO 26262 and cybersecurity expectations
• Mentor Process Owners, lead a process community of practice, review tailoring decisions and support onboarding of Process Owners, Project Quality Leads and Engineering Managers
• Lead assessment-readiness activities (gap analysis, mock assessments, evidence checks), analyse audit and maturity results and drive corrective actions
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify automation opportunities and promote model-based engineering, disciplined requirements engineering and architecture governance
• Lead cross-disciplinary initiatives with Software, Systems, Hardware, Testing, Quality, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity and Program Management, and represent the process organization in customer assessments and quality escalations

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field
• Extensive experience as an ASPICE Process Owner, process expert, assessor, quality lead or engineering process leader in automotive software development
• Certified ASPICE Provisional Assessor, Competent Assessor or equivalent assessment expertise
• Ability to lead others in solving complex process and engineering problems

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262
• Practical experience with SWE.1 to SWE.6 and interfaces to SYS, SUP, MAN, functional safety, cybersecurity, configuration management and quality assurance
• Requirements, architecture, traceability and quality tools such as DOORS, DNG, Enterprise Architect, Polarion, Jira, ALM or equivalent
