Senior Associate - F&A (Accounts Receivable)

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Senior Associate in F&A (Accounts Receivable) to work remotely from Romania. The role covers making collection calls to customers, handling invoices by email or fax and mailing hard copies, and applying incoming payments to customer accounts. It is a regular, standard-shift position.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers, email or fax invoices and arrange hard copies to be mailed as requested.
• Allocate payments against customer remittances and validate cash allocations thoroughly, reporting back to business.
• Keep track of aged receivables across AR entities and act as subject matter specialist for AR processes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and respond to client queries.
• Resolve unidentified cash, follow up on customer disputes and questions, and reconcile orders to customer books, including validating credits or debits for collection or refund.
• Ensure daily receipt reconciliation is completed accurately and confidentially, and work between departments to reach resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Advanced Italian (C1).
• Experience with a real estate client is preferred.
