Senior Associate - Accounts Payable (AP) 5B

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Senior Associate in Accounts Payable (AP) based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, working in a hybrid setting. The role reviews and validates invoices and releases them for payment, following AP guidelines and internal compliance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate the basic essentials of each valid invoice, such as supplier details, purchase order, bank account, invoice number and date.
• Release invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that all pay runs are completed as agreed with the customer.
• Follow up on requisitions (by call, email or ticket) to resolve invoice issues according to AP guidelines.
• Think through ways to reduce helpdesk queries and contribute to process improvements.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and perform a daily internal audit so that invoices and queries are handled correctly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Accounts Payable certification and F-TecF-Tec certification.
• Advanced Hungarian (C1).
• Standard work shift in Romania.
