Sales Manager, Accelerated Technologies Romania & Moldova

About the role

Medtronic's Accelerated Technologies is a newly created business unit covering Neurovascular, Peripheral, Neuromodulation (DBS, TDD, SCS), Pelvic Health and Spine. It is looking for a customer-oriented Sales Manager to drive and implement strategic directions, including market access and development, and to set and achieve sales objectives and targets for the Romania and Moldova region. The role reports directly to the Country Director and requires 50-60% travel across Romania and Moldova.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and implement strategic direction, objectives and targets for the Accelerated Technologies businesses in line with the regional strategy
• Achieve sales revenue and profit targets for the cluster (P&L responsibility)
• Plan, direct and monitor the activities of a sales team within a region, district or geography to reach sales targets
• Develop and implement business strategies for existing and potential accounts
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support selling, market development, service and clinical programs
• Identify opportunities and develop new programs to increase market share
• Work closely with Customer Care, Tender, Legal and Regulatory, Market Access, Marketing and SAM to increase therapy adoption and reimbursement access

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences
• 5+ years of professional experience in biomedical or a related industry
• Medical device sales experience in a sales management or leadership role
• Fluency in Romanian and English
