Project Lead, Global Employee Share Program (m/f/d)

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions is preparing to become an independent, pure-play agricultural company within the BASF group and is looking for a Project Lead for its Global Employee Share Program. The role works with HR, Legal, Tax, Finance, Payroll and external service providers to set up a compliant and scalable framework, and then oversees the program's ongoing administration and improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Co-design and implement the global employee share program, working with stakeholders across HR, Legal, Tax, Finance, Payroll and external providers to establish a compliant, scalable framework.
• Drive the multi-country rollout, translating country-specific requirements and ensuring alignment with regulatory, tax, labour law and securities obligations.
• Define governance standards, enrollment processes, participant communications, reporting requirements and operational procedures for a consistent employee experience worldwide.
• Manage relationships with external brokers, plan administrators and other vendors, and monitor program performance, compliance, participation rates and operational risks.
• After the initial implementation, oversee ongoing administration and continuous improvement, and support future enhancements as the organization grows.

Required profile

• University degree in business administration, finance, human resources, law, economics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in equity programs, compensation and benefits, payroll governance, finance operations or a comparable international environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee share plans, incentive programs, governance processes, compliance requirements and project management in a multinational organization.
• Excellent English and proven digital and AI focus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Stakeholder management, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, intercultural competence and a solution-oriented mindset.
