Product Owner – Sportsbook Frontend

About the role

We are looking for a Sportsbook Product Owner to join the UXMatrix product team and take ownership of the sportsbook frontend experience. You will translate market, customer and business needs into clear product outcomes and work closely with design, engineering, QA and commercial stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, objectives and roadmap for the sportsbook frontend.
• Gather requirements from operators, commercial teams and end‑users, turning them into user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, operator requests, technical improvements and debt.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and QA during sprint planning, refinement, development and release, ensuring the team understands product goals.
• Act as the primary product contact for sportsbook initiatives, facilitating workshops, demos and stakeholder communications.
• Define success criteria and KPIs, monitor metrics such as conversion, engagement and bet‑placement performance.

Required profile

• Strong product thinking with an understanding of sportsbook user journeys and frontend technology.
• Ability to make decisions, challenge assumptions and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working in agile delivery teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
