Maintenance General Technician

About the role

The Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a full-time Maintenance General Technician in Bucharest. The role covers keeping the hotel's technical systems running smoothly, from air conditioning and electrical systems to plumbing and minor repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC equipment: inspect, clean and adjust air conditioning units, check and replace filters and worn parts, and fix problems with heating plants, chillers, boilers or VRV/VRF systems.
• Manage electrical and lighting systems: check electrical panels, fuses and circuits, monitor energy consumption and report anomalies, and replace faulty lighting fixtures and optimise smart lighting linked to the BMS.
• Handle plumbing and water maintenance: repair hot/cold water and sewage installations, maintain water pumps and tanks, and respond quickly to leaks and pressure issues.
• Test emergency generators and UPSs periodically.
• Carry out minor repairs on furniture, doors, hardware and walls, manage technical complaints from hotel staff and plan preventive interventions to avoid major breakdowns.
