Junior Accountant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

Awin is a global affiliate network looking for a Junior Accountant to join its finance team. You will work on accounts receivable, support customers, and collaborate with finance colleagues worldwide. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers, detail‑orientation, and cross‑functional teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries about invoice status, provide copies of invoices and account statements.
• Research unidentified cash receipts and coordinate with account managers and customers to apply payments correctly.
• Assist with accounts receivable reconciliations, ensuring sub‑ledger and general ledger alignment.
• Process customer refunds and support account closures.
• Complete invoice clearing and collaborate with the Publisher Payments team.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support month‑end close reporting, including journal entries and reconciliations related to AR.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized and able to work both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 (preferred).
